Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Petal Closet app and its online features. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the online features. Nothing here limits the rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
1. The service
Petal Closet helps you organise your wardrobe: photograph your clothes, build looks, plan outfits and keep a diary, all stored on your phone. Online features — catalog cleanup, auto-tagging, virtual try-on and the AI stylist — need an account and use AI models run by third-party providers.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 16 years old.
- One person per account. Keep access to your Google account secure; you're responsible for what happens in your Petal Closet account.
- You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
3. Plans, free trial and limits
- Free includes a one-time trial per Google account: 3 try-ons, 5 cleanups and 10 stylist messages. Deleting and re-creating an account doesn't renew it.
- Plus and Pro give a fixed monthly number of try-ons, catalog cleanups and stylist messages, shown in the app before you buy (Plus: 30 try-ons, 30 cleanups and 150 stylist messages a month; Pro: 80, 60 and 400). Each feature has its own allowance; automatic tagging of new pieces has its own allowance too (Free 10, Plus 60, Pro 120). Unused allowance doesn't carry over to the next month.
- We may limit how fast requests can be sent, to keep the service working for everyone.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play at the price shown in the app, including any taxes Google Play applies.
- They renew automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; you keep the plan until the end of the month you've paid for.
- Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy and the law of your country. If a refund is granted, the paid plan ends when it's processed.
- Upgrading from Plus to Pro takes effect immediately; downgrading takes effect at the next renewal.
- If we change prices, the new price applies only after you're told in advance through Google Play, and you can cancel before it applies.
5. Your photos and acceptable use
You keep all rights to the photos you add. You give us only the permission needed to send them to our AI providers and return the results to you when you start an AI feature.
You agree not to:
- upload photos of another person without their permission, or any photo of a child;
- create sexual, nude or otherwise explicit images, or images meant to harass, deceive, impersonate or embarrass anyone;
- upload content you don't have the right to use, or that is illegal;
- try to get around plan limits, resell the service, or interfere with or reverse-engineer the server.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
6. AI-generated results
Try-on images, cleaned-up photos, tags and stylist suggestions are produced by AI. They can be inaccurate: a virtual try-on is an approximation, not a guarantee of fit, size or colour. Try-on images are AI-generated; if you share them, don't present them as real photos. You may use the results for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the online features available, but they may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or when an AI provider has problems. Requests that fail don't use up your allowance. We may change or stop features; if we stop the paid service, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel.
8. Liability
The app is provided with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damage or for decisions you make based on AI results, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn't limit liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
9. Ending
You can stop using Petal Closet and delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms. Data on your phone stays yours either way.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.
